$100 ANGELCORPS CHALLENGE!
Entries continuing to arrive! Who's gonna win the $100 cash? Y'all got til 7/31! Read on for the challenge details!

Hi, folks. My name is Eric Linquist aka E-Man! I am looking for heroic, FULL-BODY, COSTUMED, pin-up type colored renderings with backgrounds, of any ONE of the 13 members of my fictional team of global guardians called ANGELCorps (Allied Nations Guarding Earth Life). That includes I-Force (the team leader, representing Earth), Crossfire (USA), Warpath (UK), Charger (Philippines), Magnum (Russia), Corpus (Canada), Hybrid (Puerto Rico), PSydon (Hydropotamia, an undersea realm), Spartan (Greece), Foxfire (Navajo Nation), Hoshi (Japan), Ayratezia (Romania) and Sahara (Egypt).
Here's a couple of samples I did myself:

Speaking of challenges, be sure to look in on another separate challenge by my dA buddy Rodcom1000!
ANGELCORPS $100 CHALLENGE GUIDELINES
Renderings for the ANGELCORPS $100 CHALLENGE will be judged on both artistic skillz and creativity, but looking for serious super-hero, comic-book stylings here. Not anime, manga or cartoony stylings although I enjoy all those genres. You may enter multiple times if you wish but there can be only one unique winner for each place (in other words you cant win 1st and 3rd).
Out of all the characters submitted, there will be one best rendered piece winning the $100. One second best piece winning the $30 and so forth.
Descriptions of each of my original characters can be found in my ANGELCorps gallery displays. For any slight costume variations, go with the very first line-up shot in my top ANGELCorps gallery. I-Force is the only character not featured in that Timm-style line-up shot but the silvery/white part of his costume continues all the way down. And under Warpaths cape are those chrome-looking epaulet-things. Everyone else appears fully featured from head to toe.
Final version should be 8 x 10 (that includes any optional border) and in no less than 72 dpi. Upload it on your own site and then submit it to me by way of a link in the comments section of this journal entry. Please dont note me with your piece. Cool?
I would very much appreciate a reference link to the "$100 ANGELCorps Challenge" so that others might be..err..drawn to it and possibly motivated to participate. I'll be posting all submissions in their thumbnail form on the journal entry so everyone can see what is being submitted and we'll move along from there! Again, let me know you uploaded it via a comment on the journal entry, if you would please, and I'll check it out and post the thumbnail so the world can see!
Please note: By entering the contest, I reserve the option to re-publish the uploaded (presumably lower-res dpi) version in a future ANGELCorps related fan-art section giving YOU full credit for your piece. Nothing fancy. Just to show other takes on my characters!
That being said, I would love the option of featuring a hi-res version in a future publication with full credits listed for your piece as well but that could be worked out later, only if you're interested.
First Place gets $100 bucks.
Second Place gets $30 bucks.
Third Place gets $20 bucks.
I've decided to be flexible and award monies outside of Paypal such as Money Orders or Cashier's Checks.
Deadline is midnight EST on July 31st.

I did write this, however:
"I reserve the option to re-publish the uploaded (presumably lower-res dpi) version in future ANGELCorps related fan-art sections giving you full credit for your piece."
But that refers to utilizing only the same shared, publicly- displayed lo-res piece you would upload to your dA site. I don't want to rip off anyone's art (I have enough of my own), just publish cool versions of my OC's while giving the originator the credit they deserve!
Hope this helps.

If you are going to be that discourteous I suggest adding that to the details so that people know ahead of time. No one enjoys their art being used without their permission. Even if it is low res, it still belongs to us.
I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just pointing out a few things that may hinder this contest.

I am regretful if you feel my recommendation, which was akin to having you change the channel on a TV show you don't like, was discourteous. That was not my intent, but it's clear you're not comfortable with the guidelines, which I am okay with.
Perhaps others will see it a tad differently. I wish you and your gallery well.
